The best captions from CaptioningStar for the Emmy® Award-winning Sapling Pictures.
The process began when we were contacted by Sapling Pictures, the top video production firm in the Northern Virginia/Washington, D.C. region, to provide captioning services for their eye-catching videos. The art of visual storytelling is Sapling's forte. They are quick learners and like immersing themselves in the incredible work of their clients, transforming messages into visuals that grab attention, win hearts, or make people laugh out loud. It's important to note that their video production team has received an Emmy® award. They transform your virtual events and movies into effective marketing tools. Their goal in working with us this time is to increase their accessibility by using captions.
Special Requirments
The client requested KANJI typefaces for use with Japanese. After putting some effort on this typeface, we later discovered that the SRT format files did not support it for subtitles. Our production team conducted extensive investigation before determining that the VTT output format, not the SRT format, was where the KANJI typeface for the Japanese language could be found. Few languages used non-alphabetic characters, making it difficult to synchronise the voice and video. We finished this project after multiple retries with the subtitle time codes.
The Perfect Delivery
Let us be honest: despite numerous chances, we did not risk sacrificing the deadline or the level of quality. Because we were aware that a day or two of waiting might slow down their process, we adhered to the typical turnaround time. We flawlessly encoded subtitles to the videos that were in rhythm with the audio without any hiccups and after numerous tries. The production manager gave the clients access to every output file. We were pleased to contribute to this effort by making the video footage accessible. Accessible videos encourage viewers to perceive, comprehend, navigate, engage, and take action.
